homemade-tutorials.blogspot.com — Search for "Signature: 00004550" and you'll see about 200,000 results of executable files indexed by Google. This is a major problem as you can easily download spyware/virus infected files by mistake. I mean what's the use of indexing exe files only to display file information?

you'd have to be stupid enough to download the exe, then when IE tells you that the exe could contain viruses (i assume FF does this too) you would have to ignore the warning and run it anyways. So yeah you're right that most people on the internet should be on the lookout. (ie they are stupid enough to do the above)

If you would have read the entire post you would have seen that I gave an example when searching for a certain program on the second page there is such an exe indexed (and it's a spyware infected one). I searched for signature.. just to show how many exe files are indexed.

It's not that someone is going to search that, it's the fact that they are indexing the executable, which most likely means at a later time they will add the file:exe capability. If not, then it's a good way for law enforcement or bored teenagers to find warez and malware.
