postbubble.com— Google ponders the idea of having ads display during movies and in return letting people watch movies for free.

Some more really cool ones:"Orbital Weapons Platform""Zero Point Energy""Robotic Repair of Computers""Control of ICANN"As much as I would like Google to take control of ICANN they should stop getting their military tactics from Stargate Atlantis.
Oh great, another commercial to add into the theaters. I pay $10 a ticket and have to sit through 10 minutes of commercials. I paid money to be entertained, not be bombarded by commercials for ABC shows or some lame car advertisement.I think the theaters should pay us or knock the ticket price down for forcing these commercials into our movie going experience. I figure knock $2 - $3 per person shoulddo the trick. It was never like this 20 years ago, you went in, saw the previews and movie time...This is another reason why I rather wait for a movie to come to DVD, you can skip the advertisements in a simple click of the button.
Interesting take on a marketing strategy...although I'd have to say leave it up to Google to think up something like this. However, considering the amount of previews I have to sit through already to see a movie, I'd go for a free show with google ads...then again, I'm not the most demanding customer. Again, not a bad idea google...

babbling, not reading the article is bad enough but not reading the comment you are replying to is inexcusable. Eat spinach and die.

True... but if you have the ye old video card from PC pumped to TV, you can just skip the crap and go right for the chapters ;)

i'd welcome this idea.. in UK cinemas, you pay about 5GBP and are forced to watch about 5-15minutes worth of repeated ads which are total crap..

Really? You're able to watch the movie without comments from all the noisy people in the theater commenting on the film as they watch?
