Google acquires AdSense.com domain name

domainstate.com — Google has just completed the acquisition of the domain name AdSense.com in the past week, as per the new WHOIS. It used to be owned by a company in Oregon called "AdSense Consulting" for many years. I imagine Google paid a huge price to get this domain name and convince the prior owners to sell.
