engadget.com — At least some Google Voice voicemails are being indexed and made publicly available somehow -- if you use "site:https://www.google.com/voice/fm/*" as a search string you get a few pages of what appear to be test messages, but there are a couple eye-opening obvious non-tests scattered in there as well.

@MWeather What if Google search had turned up your Gmail password when it was in beta? Or how about a private spreadsheet in Google Docs? Let's not forget, that Google likes to leave s**t in beta forever. No excuse.

I just got GV this morning, and I have to agree with you Mateo2, that seems to be what it is. Hopefully Google makes another option for that in case of a private blog. We'll see.

@palehorse: they arent pushing their beliefs. they're putting it out there to people who live in remote areas and if those people choose to learn more they can.
