Good luck 3jam. Here are the problems.Not freeNo advanced features like google voice has...yetTexting, with a monthly charge..g-voice is free.They say you can port your number but you have to keep contact with your carrier...sounds like I'd still pay a cell bill somehow on top of their fee so whats the benny of porting?

umm...nope. not an alternative. it's $8.99 a month as opposed to free g-voice
