no matter how cool the phone if there will even be one, google will stand no chance against other companies and that is because of a lack of advertising experience. I highly doubt that google will release a miracle of a product, that does the same stuff as an iphone, and come out on top with no advertising experience. I think google just needs to stick to what they do best; online services. and even then they need to shape up a bit. google spreads themselves thin with a wealth of projects (checkout, calendar, ect) and only a handful of them has had any success. google needs to stop making a s**tload of projects but rather projects that are actually successful.

apple had never made a phone.apple simply tell Foxconn etc to make a phone as per their design. thats no different to what Google will do
