An honest question: What agenda do you see Google as pushing? I know they're pro Net neutrality.I doubt people wouldn't question Google--there have been several articles written by people wary of Google's acquisition of Youtube. I think they're too big to go unnoticed or unquestioned anymore.
I just wish they would do this with google maps and link to it on the main google page. Google earth isn't used that often by most people because it requires a download to the computer and the program is large.Oh well, cudos to Google for doing something.
Unfortunately Google is just one connection away from Negrapointe a for NSA Security Chief, seems Google is more or less in leagues with Spytech rather than Hightech....you be the judge....where are our freedoms going?

If they start the beta now, do you think it will be ready by the 2008 presidential race?

although off topic, maybe one of the reasons for the aquisition of youtube was to keep it alive. google has the infrastructure to maintain.
