The Polish group has specifically and admitidly grabbed this address to use a registered trademark to their benefit. The fact a domain is free, doesn't give anyone right to use a trademark. Just because space on the wall is free, doesn't mean you can fill it without names that other people/companies own. Had that organization had this domain before gmail existed, or without a knowledge of gmail, they would have a hope of argument, but they pretty much admitted to being in the wrong. So, why bad comments about Google? Oh, yes, people like to hate the successful guy.I don't think a company has to have an obligation to pre-purchase everything property in the world to prevent a potential infringement. That's just unreasonable.
