wiki.winehq.org — A few months ago, Sketchup started working in Wine, and has been improving rapidly. It seems rather usable now.If you've been waiting to run Sketchup in Linux, wait no more! Please test it with the latest Wine (1.1.11, soon 1.1.12), and file bugs at bugs.winehq.org for any new problems you find so we can fix 'em.

I think we need better win* theming. We've got GTK, Qt, and WIN*, and we rely on all of them. We've got to figure out a way to make them look decent together.

This has been discussed lately, seehttps://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/wine/+bu ...http://www.winehq.org/pipermail/wine-devel/2008-No ...It looks like the most practical path for the moment is forWine to support Windows theme files well, and thenfor people to author windows theme files that matchpopular Linux themes. Later we can do something moreambitious, that's already hard enough.

I have wine 1.1.13 and installed sketchup verson 7. It installed, but the drawing window space has either garbage or is black. When trying to draw a line or rectangle etc nothing shows up. I have SuSE10 and 11 installed and the same thing happens on each machine. I've tried changing the graphics parameters in the winecfg to no avail. HELP!!
