In case people haven't noticed, half of those "security issues" were with Gmail, which is still in BETA. It's not complete, it's not secure. There are flaws. You shouldn't be putting anything super secret on there anyway. For things that are really important, they should be digitally signed and sent through an encrypted mail system. Otherwise, who cares if someone gets into my inbox and sees the joke emails my mom sent me this morning?
