So Google is the ONLY company on Earth that is making their applications look flatter and duller?Gtalk looks like s**te and now this does too. I hated the new and small fonts for the feeds on the left. Everything else is good... but I don't like all the changes that google is applying in the last few days.. not that they're bad but you know.. is just strange..

I agree with elfonblog that you need to restore the "refresh" button, which I use regularly, and not hide it in a new menu. At a minimum, you should give users an option to retain a stand-alone refresh button. I would also like to save some real estate by eliminating the "friends' shared items" section, which you should allow users to hide if they do not need it. Though none of the other changes bother me, neither do they do add anything of value as far as I'm concerned. Even so, I do love Reader. I spend more time on Reader (which I use with the GPE Greasemonkey script so that I can read pages inside Reader) than I do on all other web pages combined.
