3monkeyweb.com — The first thing I was exposed to was this video. Maybe Chris is a little too happy about Google Reader, we will see. So, on to the real work. Google Reader presents the user with three initial ways of subscribing to feeds; feed bundles, user feeds from a variety of social sites such as Blogger or Flickr, and search and browse.

For people on a mac, here's a nice (free, as in speech) menubar utility to notify on new unread feeds: http://troelsbay.eu/software/reader

@tom: Actually, yesterday I read the techcrunch post when it landed on digg's front page. Just now, this story came through on my new Google Reader account! Reader is pretty slick. I used Live Bookmarks too, but just don't subscribe to enough feeds to bother going through the export process. However, I do think Reader is one of Google's best apps to date. I'm sure it'll only get bigger now that digg is paying attention to it.

Of course, not to mention the fact, more ways for Google to learn more about YOU and earning millions off YOU while you think YOU just think you are getting a freebie.- YOU!:PEDIT: BTW, for feedoholics > Free RSS Reader (not a spam) > http://www.curiostudio.com/

The best about Google Reader is the "Next>>" button. It's just so addictive. You add in all your RSS. Then when you're bored you just click on that nice shiny Next button sitting on your toolbar and you're transported to the next unread item in all your RSS.It really changed the way I browse the web.

I wish google reader reported how many readers it has to feedburner. I have a feeling a lot of people use that for my feed, but I have no way of knowing :(

There is also a good tutorial in spanish about Google Reader at http://www.aulati.net/videos/Capitulo%200%20final.mov and uses what Kratos76 mentions to do it's own newspaper... neat!! I also shows how you can do your own RSS feed from several sources and publish it by just clicking a button. Really neat feature also
