dailykos.com — The unstoppable organizer and provider of all the world's data has just refused to run a simple, non offensive sponsored ad by "YaliesorImpeachment.org" Northeast Impeachment Coalition asking for impeachment, claiming they do not permit " the advertisement of websites that advocate against a group protected by law". HUH?

The first amendment protects you from the government, not private industries, people, or companies. In terms of rights, Google taking possibly contradictory actions or citing a policy that,in your opinion, does not support their actions violates nobody's rights. Unsurprisingly, Google does not want to be identified as a company that supports radical extermaist political views, and would rather stay in the middle ground, as so loyalists from BOTH sides of the party line does not feel as if they are hindering their cause or helping the opponents cause by supporting a company that supports their competitor. If you are surprised by this, you are probably a moron, and no amount of pleading by the educated will cure of that illness.

First of all, EVERYTHING IS A CONSPIRACY. Now, does anyone even understand that the CIA provided the start up funding for Google and still has control of it. Official government documents show this funding. How else could google earth be capable of using spy satellites? get real guys, 2 plus 2 equals 4 and government plus corporate equals ``CONSPIRACY``. Always has, always will !!!

Google holds the largest map of cyberspace in the world. It knows what we think what we want who we talk to what we read and so on.If this is true and Google has "gone to the dark side", shut down your Google account and go elsewhere. Run for cover.

As was previously pointed out by stammered a couple of days ago, Google is now running this ad. It appears they realized that this was a battle not worth fighting.Run a search or two for "impeach" on Google and it'll show up under "sponsored links".
