This is the main reason Mozilla made their For Profit branch. They made $12m US from the google search bar built in to firefox. Yeah, mozilla gets $ if you use that little search bar.Kinda nifty, isn't it?Oh, that's how Opera is able to make their browser free now, too.

I despise bundling software most people don't want with software people do want... give the links if you want to advertise! don't shove it down our throats by including it! first adobe reader with the yahoo toolbar, and aim with its, and msn........... all these toolbars aren't always the easiest to remove for normal users... I don't know, if you have a good product, people will choose to use it, but if you make them... well you are as bad as Microsoft

What's the point of the Google toolbar? Firefox already has a built in search box.

WOW! Google is now becoming a software distribution channel. Just think about what this can do to the monopoly in Redmond. Referrals to openoffice can surely make a dent in Microsoft cash cow.
