I hope that they are going to be using something like Akamai for this webcast or else their server will probably fall over half way through.

Best line out of context so far:Sun superman guy in the white shirt: "I got hammered regularly."I'll drink to that!

If this whole big deal is all about bundling Java with Google Toolbar, then this was just a waste of my time and they hyped this thing up way too much. I mean, yeah, I think we hyped the whole Google Office thing on our own, but ALL THIS for a collaboration to bundle java and GT? Unbelievable!Jonathan Schwartz should open up comments on his blog post (<a class="user" href="http://blogs.sun.com/roller/page/jonathan?entry=the_world_changes_this_week)">http://blogs.sun.com/roller/page/jonathan?entry=the_world_changes_this_week)</a> so I we can lay into him about bundling Java and Google Toolbar does not change the world! I want to un-digg this just get this story off the homepage. Sun doesn't deserve the extra traffic.

A friend an I were talking about this. We think something fell through at the last minute and this press conference was the best they could come up with.
