It's not wrong.The top of the L is the stem and the bottom of the L is at the bottom coming out of the side. It's actually very subtle and I like it.Buried as dupe and incorrect.

ok ok. So the stem was meant to represent the "L". But it was ambiguous to say the least and I didn't see it until a reader pointed it out to me, post-blog. I know Google pointed out (<a class="user" href="http://googleblog.blogspot.com/2007/02/strawberries-are-red-stems-are-green.html)">http://googleblog.blogspot.com/2007/02/strawberries-are-red-stems-are-green.html)</a> that the stem is green, just like the "L" in their regular logo, but if you follow that logic, the "G" should have been blue, right?
