maps.google.com— Google Maps just released a new feature that lets you actually look around the street. Seems to only be working in major cities for now.

I don't think a9 had all the functionality that you have here, spinning yourself around, clicking controls to go down streets in two dimensions, plus the double-click zooming in. Maybe they did but I never used a9 to get directions while I do with g-maps, so all the more power to Google.

not really useful but this gives me hope for a future google earth ( full 3d with buildings.. drool)
