google.com— While Goggle Maps has been around for awhile, They just started supporting Sprint/Nextel & T-mobile phones. Fire up your Blackberry and download a great app!

Google Maps STILL does NOT work for me. I'm using a V3 Razr with T-Mobile t-zones unlimited data plan. I've just about given up on this. I guess I'll just have to wait for google to buy up some t-mobile shares to get something done.
Installed this "over the air" on my Blackberry 7290 a few days ago. Took off on a trip with a friend of mine up to the San Francisco Bay area. Have been making heavy use of this app all over the bay area. I always get turned around like a pretzel when I'm driving in San Francisco. Using this little app on my Blackberry my friend and I hardly ever got lost. Not sure how this would work for one person driving along though. Best way is to have one person driving and one person barking out directions.I have found this app to be amazingly useful and would recommend it to any mobile phone user. I think basically all you need is a java enabled phone.

I didn't see any Nextel phones on the list besides maybe some Blackberries. Misleading post.

I don't know where they get off saying "NOW" - I've been using Google local on my T-Mobile Blackberry for two weeks now. Old news. Marked as such.
