lifehacker.com — Google's displayed traffic information for major interstates and freeways for years, but starting today, the popular web-based mapping application adds traffic conditions for arterial roads?that is, heavily trafficked roads. Even better: It works with Google Maps on your cellphone.

Traffic problems and pollution would be eliminated if everyone rode bikes.

I am trying to bookmark my city with traffic graphs, but every time I go there, I get the left side with photographs/photos., places, user-created maps, top contributors, etc. Is there a way to bookmark without that piece when I view my bookmarked URL?Also exact pinpoint with zip code with its four number doesn't seem to work. It only looks at the main part. :(Any ideas, Google gurus? ;)

@Cerin: you didn't understand my question, and gave an inane reply. So, when I see a surface street color-coded as yellow, is it because traffic's moving significant more slowly than the applicable speed limit, or because traffic's moving at "25 - 50 miles per hour" (useless) as stated in http://maps.google.com/support/bin/answer.py?hl=en ... ?
