techcrunch.com — Google threw a new product called Goog-411 into Google Labs today - a free telephone based information service that could replace toll 411 calls. About 2.6 billion 411 calls are made in the U.S. each year, and it is a $7 billion/year market.

At that this point. There are no ads, no text messages, nothing.Works just like the normal for-pay 411 service at the moment except it's for commercial numbers only, you can't look up your aunt's number in it.

Here's the newest and the best FREE 411 to date that works equal to the regular paid 411. 1800-411-SAVE works great since you will be assisted by a live operator unlike the automated one. I hate talking to the automated machine!!! Most of the time it can't understand what I'm saying. Whatta crap!Good thing I found this 1800-411SAVE. I can even ask for driving directions. Whoah!!! I love it and it's for FREE. You can even get the number you requested through text message. 1800411SAVE will give you big savings when you try calling them.Try them 1800-411-SAVE or 1800-411-4283

Great info. But if your not into talking machines you must try ASK411 which provides DA information via text. Just type in the city, province and the listing that you need and send to 275411. It’s free til the end of this month so switch to SMS now. You wont have to remember or write down the number. Just go back to your inbox to get the number again or better yet save the number in your phonebook. Very convenient.
