Google is also not as perfect as the fanboys would like to make them. Google Docs is cute, but useless in the real world where you have a document larger than 256KB. They couldn't compete with YouTube, so they bought them out. Couldn't come up with their own blogging engine, so they bought Pyra Labs out. They buy an average of 1 startup every four months. GMail doesn't have probably half the users Hotmail or Yahoo have. It goes on and on.This is all great as long as their incredibly inflated stock price is at $700, but the ad market will be the first to go when the economy hiccups and then no more flashy weddings in the Caribbean for you, never mind competing.Don't get me wrong, I like Google. But the hype they generate is just annoying sometimes and doesn't stand up to close examination of facts.

I always know when I'm winning an argument with a Jew - I get called a racist or an anti-Semite.Quit with the ad hominem and please tell us the name of one MSM company not controlled by jewish interests. And yes, some International Jewry knew about 9/11 before it happened, in fact they made it happen.

Are you kidding? The content is free and open source. If the Wikimedia Foundation tried to sell the site to a corporation, or put ads on the pages, or anything that might imply a tie to capitalism, money, or greed, you'd see a HUGE migration of more than half of their hardcore users. They'd all leave Wikipedia and set up a mirror, copy all of the content to the new site, and start right where they left off.

With the introduction of Google Knol just now Squidoo will probably be forced to pay 100% of advertising revenue to its authors as oondi (<a class="user" href="http://www.oondi.com)">http://www.oondi.com)</a> is already doing.

As a Squidoo lensmaster, that sounds like a great idea to me. I doubt it will ever happen since Squidoo uses that revenue to run its business.
