techcrunch.com— If you saw this one coming, give yourself a very large prize. Google is experimenting with Digg style voting features on search results that allow users to vote up or bury search results they see.

digg style algorithms is the FUTURE of democracy.imagine a system without rulers, without central big-brothery computer systems, only a cluster of computers owned by citizens that ANYONE can raise questions/requests/ideas and anyone can vote them up ..or potentially down.
If you view an expertsexchange result you'll see the question then blurry comments on it that you require registration to view, but if you scroll right to the bottom of the page ... past the bottom even you can actually view the answers without logging in or registering. Kinda cool :P I found it out after hitting the End button in a random rage attack at getting the site up again lol
I was shopping for a laptop which cost 1300+ every where I look. but google product page just keep pointing me to one site is selling it for 800$ look legit, its look like every other shopping sites, they also got a tons of other electronics products for real good prices. So I tested the water but adding to shopping cart, put my fake information to complete the check out, turns out they only takes money orders and they need to be sent too Canada. I wish Google have feature which can report SCAM websites.Once a site or URL been tagged as Spam/Scam by multiple users it will be posted on Review board, where public and google can review them internally. If everything verified then put a link next to the result to discussion about that site. Removing will be like filtering and i don't google to filter stuff. let joe decide if he want to pawned.
hahahahaha, brilliant description..... thank you for a good laugh, im about to leave to go take the LSATs and your comment definitely put me in a much better mood
this is an awesome idea for us users, but i wonder if it will affect their business model at all. how much will companies be willing to pay if they know there is a better chance a better site is going to pop up due to this new feature?
