egawd no! it's bad enough to hike for hours only to arrive at a viewpoint/summit to find some yuppie yakking away on his cell phone.

lol check my site dumbass... I had a ton of pics but now i only have like 4 (All from backpacking trips) and you prolly think the 7 layer model refers to a burritolol

Think of it as more of a "slow IM." You're like a character in a play, or forum as the case may be, and you're voicing your part. You wouldn't say, "Wherefore art thou Juliet?. . . Romeo." That's why the name is in the headline above the text, it's not a letter or an email. It's a literary speech bubble.

jus1haz2, you have never been on any backpacking trips, nor have you ever hiked. And 7 layers refers to a burrito variety.

Hi there jackass,In 2005 I thru-hiked the Appalachian Trail, all 2174.9 miles northbound from Georgia to Maine. The majority of the time I carried not only my nokia series 60 smartphone but also a fold out bluetooth keyboard for journaling. I read not my favorite social sites (wink wink) but also my email from some of the most remote locations in the US (amazing how cell signals carry from one high point to another). Now that I'm back in "the real world" and preparing/planning my next hike (short or long distance), I'll make good use of this addition to google earth.Mouth (of the South)GA-ME 2005
