msnbc.msn.com— According to Google's CEO Eric Schmidt, Google has no plans to enter the web browser space. Why bother when you can piggy-back onto all other browsers with toolbars and extensions?

Google already integrates very well with the current popular browsers out there, I wouldn't know why they would want to create their own browser.. it seems they already have a great relationship with the Mozilla Foundation (toolbar integration, et al). I'd rather them dedicate their efforts on working on said "Operating System" to be quite honest.
Its not surprising. They are working extensively with firefox.Since Fx is open source they will just mod it to their needs, if they ever feel the need.
