Seems very hefty for a garage but it worked out well for everyone in the end it seems. Then again, $1.1-1.3 million for a 1,900 sq foot house seems hefty as well when compared to housing in other parts of the country.

@spooonIt's all relative to the cost of living. http://www.homefair.com/homefair/calc/salcalc.htmlsomeone living in Milwaukee WI making $100,000 would need to make over $150,000 in Anaheim CA

$1700/mo for a garage? Not bloody likely. WTF?I own a much larger house for a much lower monthly mortgage, and love it. Of course, I have to deal with snow, but I'll break my back once in awhile for the savings.Sure wish someone would pay me that much per month for my garage. I'd let them use my restroom for free, too!

no funniness as of yet, either

I hope that the rent included the right to use the swing on the tree.

Married geeks, usually the kind of person who would have one, aren't allowed to use the basement and get the garage as a subtle hint to get some work done on the car. Geeks as a whole really aren't that great at understanding what the average guy one the street likes, and their software tends to show it. Married geeks usually have the empathy to grasp the non-geek viewpoint, and as a result are seen more often as the creaters of startups that actually hit the news.

I love thinking that such a big company can startin a garage, its really cool...

Because if they say that they lived in a basement, usually it means theyre still living with their parents, and nothing cool comes out of that.
