According to the article, it's a USED 767. But yeah, we need more well-paying jobs in Michigan, especially Tech. The only good thing the auto companies are doing is making some of the world's heaviest-polluting cars so in a hundred years Michigan will become as warm as Florida (and you can still hunt deer up north.)

I live in Mt. Pleasant MI., and I'm getting ready to move to California because the economy is s**t here. But Ann Arbor is where more affluence is, so its a lot less susceptible to the Michigan economy's mood swings.

To the dude who thinks geeks will get mugged downtown. That's not true. Compuware is right downtown with 4,000 or so employees working there everyday. While it doesn't have the "geek" status that google does, it is a place in detroit where true software development is occurring (shrinkwrapped software in addition to custom development for clients).Oh by the way, they're hiring C++ and Java developers...
