googleblog.blogspot.com— Google Browser Sync is a FireFox extension that unifies your bookmarks, history, saved passwords, and persistent cookies across all the computers where you install it.

And I'll third that. I've got that in as a feature request for Foxmarks. Iv'e been using foxmarks since it launched and if you use more than one PC then you really get used to having your bookmarks synced.
How much clearer do you want it : your important information is encrypted, they cannot view it, nor would they want to view it. It's not a conspiracy, they will probably analyze some of your data to make money (that's what people do to stay alive these days [make money]) and provide you with a FREE and nifty service. Someone get me a box of Kleenex, please.
I keep getting an error while syncing. "Error '51 request timeout' occurred while syncing, please try again later"I really think this will be a cool extension, though I agree with some people above about the Session Saver extension being disabled.
I do not really like how thise conflicts with SessionSaver. On my work computer I have different tabs always open than what I would like at Home (ex. IP restricted stuff). However, this extension doesn't support local tab/window saving... but unfortunately I cannot run SessionSaver at the same time as this extension.
All this whining about security, did everyone hear read the article about your Windows XP "phoning home" each day? Unless you pirated or don't use XP. (That cuts out ~50% of people) Wait, it's okay, they're going to change it to 2 weeks.
this would be a basic arcane way of doing it yes, but if you're on your desktop browsing and you need to go to work, log on to your work computer, open up FF and boom; you are were you left off. i use this a lot.

but why you need sessionsaver if this one does the same job? [I also disabled sessionsaver to try this]

All of those are options. You can select what gets synced and whether it's encrypted or not.Still, doing extensions as well would be nice...

Yes but on the googlepop wrapper you would get several non intrusive text based advertisements
