Gmail is the best service, but sometimes down time like that can be crucial if you miss a very important e-mail. Does anybody know if senders have been notified that the mail is unreachable?
I seriously can't believe people actually use gmail for their primary email.I have one and it's just a throwaway email / giant spam collector even though I never give it out. maybe someday I'll lean on it for something, but in light of this, maybe not.20 minutes is one thing, 2 hours? my mom could probably administrate servers better than that. maybe they should outsource to Amazon.

It's all personal preference..."some like it hot, some like it cold..."

much more likely that your internet connection would go down if you have a standard cable or DSL, but yeah true

Such problems can happen! Even Google can fail sometimes!
