Something really fishy about this site... 1. It's from ELECTRONIC ARTS2. The entire page is Android-themed3. The URL includes "/promo/"4. There's nothing at all negative about the Android5. There's no comparisons between the Android and other competing productsBuried as viral spam.
Agreed. There is no damn setting to change that. They need more options to change the settings like notification sounds and such. My crappy Razor had more ways to change the settings. The G1 still rocks tho.
RE: " Google products seldom if ever come out of Beta, right? Seems to me that Google will never get more than 60% of what we want from it, in part because that's what open source/free things seem capable of. (Yes, I know I'll be dugg down). The polish that iPhone has will always be amazing, and there'll be huge gaps in what you want to do with Android that won't get filled in."So, going by your post, it sounds more like Android will be the "Linux PC" and the iPhone will be the " Windows PC" of the mobile market...
I would be VERY surprised. The strength of Android is alos its weakness: too many different devices to work on. That poses a seriuos problem for third party apps developers.
Jesus. 5.1 is pretty damn old. If you want to comapre that to Android, reduce the ram down to 16 or 32 MB which is probably the most yours had instead of 192 MB which is what your current phone has. See if Android still runs. Apples to apples my friend.
