I have a VCR hooked up to the Composite inputs on my dell ultrasharp (vcr acts like a cable box), and watch TV in the PiP window. Saves so much space and works great

not to mention tv's don't eat up THAT MUCH space, and you can get a big fat tube tv for practically nothing. i've got a 36" mitsubishi here, and it was only $180. craigslist FTW :D
