news.com.com— A host of mailing list archives disappears after thousands of MySpace usernames and passwords are archived on the site.

This is actually very odd timing.2 days ago I was charged $9.95 to "the card I have on file", with no warning from GoDaddy because they received a complaint that my whois information was incorrect, which it in fact was not.In their defense after an angry email they returned my call and subsequently refunded my money. But their lack of looking into complaints is astounding.
The best thing to do is to e-mail them before or after you transfer your domain. Let them know why you did. The only thing corporations understand is money. press_at%godaddy.com < / end hippy rant >
yeah we were just commenting about this at sploitcast.com on the forums........i cant believe GoDaddy would do this, check out the posts on the forums..........
Why does everyone want to jump off the GoDaddy wagon so quickly?I've used GoDaddy for about 6 years now and had only a few minor complaints that were corrected. I manage a few of my client's sites that were also hosted with GoDaddy and never had an issue that couldn't be resolved.I've also had client's that had their domains held hostage by other providers. I'll not point fingers but other registrar have their complaints also. I believe that the grass is not greener on the other side. I don't agree with everything GoDaddy does but I've seen worse.

If you want to use a real registrar try out www.moniker.com, they are great. I have over 230 names with them and couldn't be happier.
