discussions.apple.com — An unacknowledged change to GoDaddy's forwarding & masking service two weeks ago makes any site parked on their server and forwarded to another site not viewable to Mac OS X users using Safari or Opera browsers. Please digg! This problem needs the exposure so GoDaddy will admit the problem and fix it.

It works for me in Opera/Linux. So it is a mac only problem?

Starf1re, I wasn't trying to flame (assuming your comment is for me). I felt guilty about the abrasive use of "hates" in my title as a cheap attention grabber, so I tried too make light with a funny alt-title (an obvious and lame play on Kanye West's now famous G. W. comment). I don't hate GoDaddy or Windows users. I'm just looking for honest answers to a problem that concerns quite a few Mac users, whether I was originally right or wrong.

While I do agree its a browser issue, they have done something new. I have had nothing but problems with my domains from them for the last 2 weeks.

GoDaddy is now admitting that the problem is on their end:"Thank you for your email. GoDaddy learned that some customers using the Apple Safari web browser were having difficulty accessing forwarded domain names. At this time, we have determined the issue is NOT related to a glitch in our service, but rather with a product supplied by one of our vendors. We are actively working on resolving this issue and expect it to be fixed shortly. Please let us know if we can help you in any other way."

This isn't the first time something on GoDaddy has broken in safari. With enough pressure they fixed it last time too.

Gawd, I hate the title I picked for this topic. If only I could change it. I blame sleep deprivation and frustration. At least some answers may come of it. Good job zackmac for the submitting the story to Slashdot. Looks like a good discussion.

It had to do with Cisco routers from my understanding NOTHING to do with Go Daddy not liking Mac users- bad info posted from the get go- nice job.
