reflex8.com — Gmail has been used for data storage for sometime now on Windows and Linux. Now there is an application that allows easy uploads and downloads of data to Gmail from OS X. gDisk is pretty stable, allows multiple file uploads and downloads, has the ability to attach labels to content and more.

Although it doesn't run on Mac OS, I prefer RoamDrive (www.roamdrive.com). The interface is very simple, and it lets me treat my gmail and hotmail accounts has 2GB+ hard drives with absolutely no restrctions on file size or type.

And then there's the nifty site called yousendit.com -- you can email files up to 1gb to anybody in the world... Works very well and the site is VERY fast.

i've been using this app for quite a while, and its great... only problem is that it can't upload folders ('directories')... other than that, perfect

Wow, amazingly old... I had this before 10.4 if I'm not mistaken... If not, right at release...

I tested out GSpace and although it works 10 times better, it puts the items into my inbox which sucks. I guess I will need a filter/rule to move the messages somewhere. At least it doesn't crash (for me at least) and is cross platform. I didn't have a problem with gDisk crashing on 10.4.5 though.
