I've been able to give invites still - but the count goes down. A while ago, you'd give the away, and get into the mid-nineties ... but then the number would rise up again to 100. Not for a few months now, though.

Pssh. I never got any invites. And I've had gmail since the end of 2005.It gets annoying having to run through shared email addresses to find an invite for friends.

And to live in the USA. That isn't available in Canada, for instance. Actually....none of Google's SMS services are available in Canada that I'm aware of.

I've been able to do this now for some time, at least a few months. You press the sign-up button and you give google your phone number and they send you a code that you use for the registration. As I said, have been able to do this for a few months.

Usually, I just create a filter to label it and then archive the message. So then it's out of your inbox and basically in a folder. *shrug*
