I wish more free web email companies would do this, especial hotmail, they are the worst. My school switched to Symantec Bright Mail Spam Filters, where before I GOT NO SPAM, now I get 10-20 a week all from hotmail accounts the whole things seems fishy to me.
The guy that submitted this digg is a tard. No frickin way he has 500 friends to email to. I'm sure he has some vague idea where they work or something... but it sounds to me like he is DEFINITLY spamming using Gmail. SHAME! ;)
You could just rename the .exe.For example Program.exe --> Program.gmail and Gmail will just let me upload it.Bit of a pain if I have to send multiple exe's, but in reality it is more secure to have it setup this way.
I've sent out an invitation to over 500 people before. My account was broken for a day, I couldn't send anything. I'm not saying it shouldn't have been, I just wish I knew there was a limit before I sent out that email.
OMG, You only get 100 email a day at work! I wish, I get 2,000-3,000 a day and that does not include Server alerts and spam. Just the price you pay working for a tech company. Filters are a god sent.I side with google in this case as well, but it would be nice to know about the limit before they shut down the account for the day.My 2 cents- Dan - shoreperformance.com

Anyone who is sending more than 500 emails a day should be running their own server.

How long will it take 'til people hates Google and it's realm, as much as they hate Microsoft?
