if you assume we are the cause of global warming with CO2, and suggest we continue to fill our atmosphere while the sun cools down. short term, this might be a good thing against an ice-age. but what happens afterwards? our self-made global warming would add with the suns global warming ... .. i think that would be a dangerous game to play ;)

Well, the problem with that is the sun is what has been causing our "Warming". We couldn't do very much to contribute to global warming at all.
