glennbeck.com — We all know what happens when government tries to "fix" things: It fails. The health of this country isn't good. We cannot afford more massive government programs. Our dollar will eventually go away if they continue down this path and, when it collapses, who's going to save us because America's too big to fail? France?

He STILL won't talk about that girl that he may have RAPED AND MURDERED. If he really did RAPE and MURDER that girl in 1990, he shouldn't be on television and radio. He should be in jail. If he didn't RAPE and MURDER that girl, why won't he just come out and deny it or offer some evidence to the contrary?

The entire damn article and pretty much anything that comes from Glenn Beck's small, greedy, manipulative little mind.

@bobcat7407: Homosexuality is certainly not a choice. The only choice is being celibate or not. The old fallacy that sexual orientation is choice and not pre-determined is hogwash and has no scientific basis in fact. The 1st part, the rape, has been highlighted lately by 30 Republicans voting against making it illegal to have the government hire companies that put rape accusations into arbitration, rather than a court of law where it resides. And abortion is not just about "where life begins", but also about the woman's rights to her own body. Life probably begins at conception, however sentience does not occur till after at least the mind & body are formed. The debate there of course, is if the growing fetus' body is reacting to things (sentience) or just a reflex in brain-body programming? But by all means, not a simple argument of just "when life starts".And denying people medical procedures they need, because of it being a "pre-existing condition" would be a good example of taking health & possibly life away from someone. Cause even if it's provided legally when you don't have insurance, you're still screwed cause you'll lose your house in the medical bill bankruptcy to follow. But from your first statement about homosexuality, it was quite obvious that you have a rather simple view of these complex issues.EDIT: Just noticed you didn't say anything about the theocracy attempting to be implemented. Curious.

I never said they didn't /want/ him shut down, but until they go to some legal action to keep him from using his right to free speech you can't claim that they are trying to take away his rights. I /want/ the KKK to all be shot into the sun, that doesn't mean I'm guilty of murder, and I'm not taking any actions to do it, so I'm not even guilty of attempted murder.Nor am I saying that anyone who disagrees with me is misled. I gave you direct evidence that Glenn Beck is a liar and that people believe his lies. That is what I mean when I say misled. It's cute how you try to make me out to be some conformist that wants all others to think like me. I'm not. Like I've said before in this comment threat (this time I hope you'll listen): I don't care if people disagree with me, honestly. Everyone is entitled to their opinion. But Glenn Beck is a liar, and he is using his position to spread known lies and unwarranted hatred and fear. I'm not saying he doesn't have a right to spread those lies (although in some cases I think he treads onto libel and slander), but I am saying I don't think he should have a mouthpiece for spreading those lies, and any responsible network would have shut him down long ago.Oooh, now we're getting into homophobia. Are you going for the right-wing trifecta?

@Suricou"other than the post office, highway system, municipal services, national security, product safety regulations, radio spectrum allocations, standardisation of power, and so on."Right, and all of these work so very well. Like how "national security" allows so many millions of illegal immigrants to cross the southern border every year that no one can come up with a valid estimate of the total number. And like how product safety regulations prevented those 3,000 cases of salmonella last year (or was it 5,000? the number grew so fast I forget where it ended) all from a single peanut packing plant. And "municipal services" like the six hour wait to get a driver's license I had to go through a couple months ago? A real shining example of bureaucratic efficiency, that is! And radio spectrum allocations that keep four stations on the same wavelength at my father's house? Power standardization is doing pretty well, that's true. At least we got one thing right. And the highway system looks good on the surface, but most of the bridges outside urban areas are in danger of collapsing (something none of us like to acknowledge), as well as a surprisingly large number of bridges inside major metropolitan areas. But, yeah, we're doing better than China or South Korea where major buildings collapse so often they don't even make the news anymore, or Thailand where anywhere outside Bangkok (and in many neighborhoods inside Bangkok) the tap water is not drinkable without pre-boiling, or Tokyo where ozone and particulate pollution are directly related to over a million sinus and eye infections every single month, and in summer the number is so high they don't even bother to calculate it. Of course, all of these countries also have an invasive, micromanaging central government that makes ours look like a bunch of high school students in a summer "political science through experience" camp.Oh, wait... You support a more invasive central government, don't you?

"Was the "Government" evil when the Republicans were in charge? What has changed?"Yes.Nothing.Therein lies the problem.

Wait a minute...Is that just a cut and paste hack job?Typical, unimaginative liberal thinking. Alright. You got me. Kudos for that. I'll let it slide this time, but no one else gets away with it and you won't get away with it twice.C'mon, people! Do your own thinking!

I do not believe that it's true. But why won't he just show us the evidence? That's fishy.
