I always thought that Nathan Petrelli was the kind of person to take advantage of misery for his gain.

It's a tired old formula. Those of us who believe the official story are branded "sheep." We have, of course, been brainwashed by the government. (Insert a few pathetic historical references here to reinforce the apparent capabilities of the government). We are apparently being taken for fools, and have no knowledge of the things going on in the world.It's a paradox. You, of course, have reached a higher purpose. No doubt you have researched the subject matter from every angle possible, have conducted extensive research, read every conflicting argument and left no stones unturned in coming to your own educated conclusions. You are more important than us, because you have a mouth and you're not afraid to use it. You are the ones who are battling the horrible force that is the government, who are seeking the truth. You are the ones who are carefully crafting every hateful, misinformed word of yours in the name of the family members who lost loved ones on that fateful day. If it weren't for you, we'd be powerless at the hands of an oppressive dictatorship, hell-bent on getting, er, oil... yeah, that's it. Oil. Oil is the answer to everything in the world, right?But isn't it ironic... don't you think? How you hang on the ill-informed, oft debunked claims of conspiracy nutjobs working out of their bedrooms? How you are swayed by some kindergarten physics slapped on a video and thrown on YouTube; some quotes being taken out of context? How you are too blind to see both sides of the story, and lack the mental capacity to come to your own conclusions? How, with your pre-school knowledge of world politics and economics, you come out with the most arrogant, sweeping statements, safe in the knowledge that in your own little world you do indeed know it all? It's a relief. Masha'Allah you fools are not in any position of power.

The real tragedy in all this is that there are so many valid reasons to dislike Giuliani without even having to mention 9/11, reasons founded on uncontroversial documentation of his public "service" record. Be that as it may, the only reason people (outside New York it would seem) perceive that Giuliani handled 9/11 well is because our President at the time seemed to be doing nothing at all. In times of crisis, people want decisive action and Giuliani was right there in front of the cameras barking orders as though he knew what he were doing. It's an image that, unfortunately, seems to blind people to his abysmal civil rights record.

"The answer is obvious to anyone with a functioning brain"Alex Jones makes the same type of ad hominem arguments all the time, but it doesn't make them true. Most definitions of terrorism include only those acts which are intended to create fear or "terror", are perpetrated for an ideological goal (as opposed to a lone attack), and deliberately target "non-combatants".IF you want to ask the question "Who benefited?", then you must look at all sides and stop ignoring the other "obvious" conclusion. Terrorist organizations now have MORE publicity than even after the Cole attack (which some probably think was stage too, but is not relevant at the moment). More and more "jihadists" are signing up for the cause to coerce entire populations through means of terror. The military complex has benefited but to say that they planned this whole attack so they can solely benefit is absolutely ridiculous. We're not going to convince each other either way on the internet. I have plain evidence that suggest that it was a real attack from a terrorist organization, and you think you have evidence that suggests otherwise. Plain and simple.
