my comments had nothing sexist about them brat14. my point was aimed at the fact that 14 year olds shouldn't be that involved in politics. they are still kids, and shouldn't be troubling themselves with this.
That really isnt much of a serious threat, although its obviously not a smart thing to say... But i'm also impressed she has any opinion at all. I know i didnt at that age.. I have some things i've always wanted to bring up to your government, but quite frankly it seems like they would toss me in jail for even realizing their own stupidity on a few local policys they have done.OH well, maybe another day.
I had a friend who made a stupid remark about blowing up the president in a diner at 2am one drunken Saturday morning when Clinton was in Office. My friend was about 20 at the time. The feds came and talked to everyone who knew him including his parents. It took them about a month to talk to everyone. They even visited with me. Then, after talking to everyone else then they finally bothered to discuss it with him. No charges were ever filed in his case. But two federal agents spent a month on him.Sounds to me like this little idiot girl got off easy. If she didn't get stupid advice from uninformed liberals who like to pretend all our laws were invented by Bush ten minutes ago she wouldn't be in this position. All you idiots who 'blame Bush' for this Federal policy of protecting the president acting as if Bush thought it up himself are also idiots. Man, your Bush derangement syndrom is showing.
@recklessprocessI had the same thought as well about the abortion issue. Where do parents and the state (meaning any governing body) draw the line as to what is acceptable when dealing with minors? And if you were thinking that I want the state to drive minors to the clinic for abortions, but gasp in horror about what happened to the kid in Sacramento, you're dead wrong. The kid in Sacramento got the treatment she deserved, as would anybody who did the same thing unless they were under say the age of 6. The Secret Service takes that kind of stuff very seriously. We do have the ability to redress our grievances about our government as guaranteed by the constitution, however we aren't protected from acting stupid and facing the consequences.
So when are they going to start recruiting for the Bush Youth, so children can tell the Secret Service about disparaging remarks their parents have made about the Fuhrer, I mean President?

The GOP is sounding it's death knell. Their divisive and hateful campaign have opened peoples eyes. Unless they become more inclusive they are done!http://recovering-republican.com/
