Yes, that is a very strong possibility. It still is an opportunity for the mother to teach her daughter the proper use of 911 and why what she did (whether accidentally or intentionally) was not a good thing. It is also a learning opportunity for the mother about a "deactivated" cell phone. BTW, what I am wearing has absolutely nothing to do with anything. But if the image helps you feel better about yourself, glad I could help!
How can you end it if you are unable to locate the person using the phone. 911 operators don't have the luxury of screening calls or just ignoring them all together. Every 911 call has to be answered. BTW older cell phones do not have GPS chips to locate them and not all 911 centers have the equipment to map/locate cell phones even if they have the GPS chip. Knowing what cell tower the call is on is no help either because most towers have up to a 10 mile radius of coverage. Kinda' like finding a needle in a hay stack....
In theory I could call you an arrogant prick and claim my statement is merely a fact, and wonder why you feel threatened enough to defend yourself when I was simply stating a fact. But let me spell it out for you: that you even need to state your "gifted" status without being asked is a clear sign of arrogance, which in turn is a natural response to some subconscious lack of self-confidence and/or immaturity. Of course I realize I am not so "gifted" as you, so forgive me my insolence, dear master.
