Just like the bogus argument they used to justify Japanese internment camps--there's no Japanese spies so it must be working! I guess since there's only been one 9/11 Bush's War of Terror must be a great success!

First there is no evidence whatsoever that the Bush Administration has stopped ANY terrorist from doing anything they damn well please. The fact that there hasn't been another attack on Bush's watch is more likely due to the fact that al Qaeda et al are interested in other targets than the fact the Bush Administration has been sucessful in stopping them. How do I know this? Because if there had been a successful interception of a terrorist attack the Bushies would be extolling it with about the same ferver as the second coming of Christ.Further, Gingrinch should shut his flapper. He's making the assumption that everyone would flock to Bush's side/policies if there was another attack, something that would be unlikely to happen. A second attack on Bushs watch would be confirmation of this administrations importence against terrorism, not vinidication of it's policies. Gingrich displays typical Republican narrowmindedness when it comes to weighing both sides of an issue i.e. they don't.

That is the neo-conservative mentality. They truely want perpetual war on this earth. They are so scared for emerging China and Russia that they will do anything to show our military strength. Even though they are willing to let China control our ecomony.That world view is fundamentally wrong and evil in my oppinion.
