My guess is he/she was chasing a storm, and got caught in a stretch of the highway without an overhang... I'm sure it has happened before to storm chasers. Probably miscalculated the wind velocity of one of the hail producing clouds or something...Luckily no other people were hurt from what I saw. Might be a good case for upgrading the glass in the truck, or plating the truck with something stronger.
