i'd love to see a new ghostbusters movie. it would be great if murray would do it, but i think i've heard that he and ramis don't get along very well anymore. hey, it can't be worse than the walking statue of liberty...

oh well. like lots of people have already said, this movie isn't gonna get made. here's the "in focus" interview:<a class="user" href="http://www.infocusmag.com/05november/ramisuncut.htm">http://www.infocusmag.com/05november/ramisuncut.htm</a>

In some real Ghostbusters news, check out this site: <a class="user" href="http://www.88mphstudios.com/">http://www.88mphstudios.com/</a>They've been doing a comic book series based on the Ghostbusters for the past few months, and might be doing more if there's enough interest.

A Third Ghostbusters film would be like Paula Abdul releasing a new album, it should have been done before they let themselves go.

Please god...Anyone but stiller...

ben stiller sucks, every one of his characters from his films are carbon copies of each other, he has about much range as jeff goldblum...

Okay take this or leave this. i have been a fan of Ghostbusters for years it hold a lot of sentimental value for me.so when i heard back in 99 that there was talk of a Ghostbusters 3 i was floored, it brought back memories of when i heard Ghostbusters 2 was green lighted. Now there is talk that Bill Murray doesn't want in (in my opinion he is the Ghostbusters and i know I'm not the only one) but you still have everything all the other movies had Ivan Ritemen, Dan Aykroyd and Ramis so i don't think it would be bad. Even just compared to the crappy movies that have come out in the last year like Doom, Starwars 2 and 3 .Long story short its not very possible that the movie would be bad or that it would do badly, but without Murray this movie will be a complete and utter disaster!and even worse if Ben Stiller is in it you might as well burn the script. Now if they lose any more of the key factors that made the last movies good (ie. the humor, cast, ideas or the fact that something huge is walking through new york, made of food products or not)this will be a bad movie so i would caution them to tread carefully on my childhood memories.

to the person who said bill murray f'ing sucks and chris farley is suited, your an idiot. Chris farley is a doey person best suited for muck around films like how he was in 'beverly hills ninja'why do you think he was one of the "saturday night live" cast?the original cast is DABOMB. I will not want to watch it without the old cast. Also to the person who said having a film 3 would be silly, well your wrong. Most of us who love classics have that kind of emotion especially with souless and crappy movies this day and age(along with new aged music) but when you get the 'i feel like watching a movie from my childhood' eg. ghostbusters or superman etcyou feel all emotional and think 'boy i wish they made a sequel' p.s last poster of chris tucker etc, in the film, Is funny to picture, but crappy to actually consider. Don't ruin classics....if you put all this sh*t in it then it no longer is ghostbusters...you might aswell just slap a crappy film together with anyone in it.
