downloadsquad.com — How do you implement GTD using online tools, preferably free ones? I've found that there is no "all-in-one" solution like Outlook for managing your personal information online. instead I will give you what I consider to be the best-of-breed web based services, and how I go about integrating them GTD-style.

Backpack becomes an extremely more appealing option if you factor in Packrat (Mac OS X only), an offline client that can sync with Backpack once you get online. I've written about it a few times on TUAW:http://tuaw.com/tag/packratI've also put it through its paces, like editing a little on Packrat, a little on Backpack and syncing. It works incredibly well, and while it can't edit quite ALL the elements of Backpack just yet (for example: Packrat can't create new pages - yet), this $24.95 shareware app makes Backpack a killer PIM both on and offline.
