lifehacker.com — Everyone has to find their own killer personal organizational app, and for me, it's a single, free HTML document called GTDTiddlyWiki. The self-contained standalone mini-wiki is packed with features but it doesn't dictate how you work - it provides a canvas on which you can design your own process improvements and workflows.

Problem with GTDTiddlyWiki is that it is a fork of an older version of TiddlyWiki, so you can't take advantage of the improvements in the newer versions of TiddlyWiki - most importantly, new support for plugins and Styles, which allow developers to layer functionality on top of TiddlyWiki and benefit from upgrades of the underlying software. Also, GTDTiddlyWiki is not currently maintained. After trying different options, I've settled on MonkeyGTD, which is an elegant GTD style built on top of TiddlyWiki, which runs on the most current version. Been using it for a while now, and I find it a great productivity tool. Unlike most other GTDs, which are project or plan-centric, MonkeyGTD is action-centric, which I find makes for a much more natural and intuitive organization and personal management process.I recommend checking it out: http://monkeygtd.tiddlyspot.com/
