This is a resurgence of the true right. They are finally speaking out against the neocons who have hijacked the Republican party.George Will has been making little hints here and there for years about his hatred for the neocons, but it looks like he and a lot of other true conservatives are finally beginning to assert themselves.I guess the comfort of knowing that Bush and Cheney and their little cabal of neocons are going into history's dustbin in a few more months has emboldened them.I say it's about time. I've been railing against the neocons since 2002, and I couldn't believe I was only one of a few vocal conservatives who were against these ideologically warped fools all this time.
You're right. If Obama nominated Hillary as VP, he would not have anything to worry about. I can't imagine any rational person other than the most militantly lesbian of our society wanting her to be president. Besides, didn't I say "rational person"? So nobody would ever want that.Unfortunately, the number of people who actually vote is so narrow in this country, only 56% of eligible voters actually show up to vote, so even Georgie was able to walk away with a second term after blatant fear and uncertainty tactics to invade Iraq should have derailed him, with 50.73% of the vote.Obama knows that if he had Hillary on the ballot, not only would more Republicans show up to vote against him, but so would the majority of Democrats who never voted before, because just about nobody would want Hillary in an office that could give her the presidency if something bad happens. She has, of course, gotten lucky before when something bad happened to someone else. Vince Foster? Ron Brown? umm, dozens of others?
There is a difference between "lacking formal qualifications" and "being a total moran". I would suggest that you read up on this critical distinction so people do not accidentally confuse you with the latter.
Have you heard about the abomination of desolation in the bible were the Antichrist is come into the temple. This was what I was referring to .But if you want me to go back to the article of why Palin isn't qualified I can do that too,To me she is,and after her debate that was done last night I think many more will see that,I am very interested in seeing the right candidate get in there to make the right choices, I am not just supporting her because shes a woman,as I am not voting against Obama because of race,I am also not voting because shes religious as you said ,not ever one believes is righteous and in the bible it says even Satan believes,But I do not want a left agenda,I do not want to lose support for Israel,I do want to see our freedoms, democracy, and history, and rights trampled in this or any other country. As for Obama I am not for him ,he has came in to deceive many in my thinking and could destroy many things and freedoms we hold. And with his stopping of free speech, and schools parenting programs,it isn't headed in the right direction.I admire that you are studying religion,And if you want to keep in touch feel free.
