washingtonpost.com — The McCain-Palin campaign's closing argument...is that Obama is a bad person. This, McCain and his female Sancho Panza say, is demonstrated by bad associations Obama had in Chicago, such as with William Ayers, the unrepentant terrorist.

Although I don't always agree with George Will, he is right on the money here about the deficits of McCain-Palin. He sticks to his principles - no matter what is going on in the world.

I breathed a sign of relief and thankfulness when I read this column today. Thinking Republicans are seeing the charade behind the very pathetic tactics of McCain/Palin.. It is difficult for me to fathom the depth of the well of hatred and vindictiveness that the RNC has tapped into. Our divided country needs to be healed from this demagogy. Senator Obama has been trying to give us that hopeful optimism and continually is bombarded by negativity and malaise.Gov.Palin's exercise in futility is getting quite old, and the American people who are still open minded are taking a good hard look at the strategy that the RNC is using...It is certainly time for a change..WE are tired of all of this nonsense..We need our country to be able to endure and deal with the struggles and problems of the 21st century not the 20th.

The reality is the fantasy world of the Reagan socio-economic model and the cold war logic to solving problems is dissolving before our very eyes as this election campaign progresses and it is time for people to realize it and look toward the 21st century of globalization and interdependence rather than nationalistic foolishness and appeals to separateness and hatred.Sarah is being media constructed by image makers creating a fantasy character like Reagan to take the next seat full of empty calories but appealing bites of sound. Whatever there was to her to begin with will be superceded with superciliousness! If we buy it we will just be trying to have more of the same world we see crashing down around us right now!
