roguegovernment.com — National Security Presidential Directive/NSPD 51 puts the President in charge of ensuring constitutional government for all three branches of government in the case of a catastrophic emergency. This effectively makes the President a dictator. The directive itself is unconstitutional and ensures constituational government wouldn't exist.

.... and of course Bush's pandemic preparedness plan has been roundly criticized by virtually all sane epidemiologists and public health experts out there. Bush has a pattern of looking for an excuse to behave like a dictator. This gives him another excuse. I find it pathetic to find these amateur lawyers here looking for comforting legal language in what is essentially an enabling act.

I forgot to mention the neo-con think tank, PNAC(Project for the New American Century) that talks about how we need a "helpful Pearl Harbor event" to go ahead with their agenda. Here's the direct quote: "Further, the process of transformation, even if it brings revolutionary change, is likely to be a long one, absent some catastrophic and catalyzing event ? like a new Pearl Harbor." But instead of looking into things lets all laugh instead."All truth passes through three stages. First, it is ridiculed. Second, it is violently opposed. Third, it is accepted as being self-evident."Arthur Schopenhauer

I notice a lot of people seem to be displaying a nonchalant attitude about this. Particularly "liberals". (All my friends are liberals, and I used to be one.) I see clearly now that this is a result of our decades of social conditioning. Liberals are conditoned not to "over react" (read: TAKE NO ACTION AT ALL), to remain "rational" (read: RATIONALIZE every event, no matter how heinous), and above all to respond in a self-righteous and intellectually condescending manner to any arguments that don't fit into their Chomsky-ite programming (read: Your intellectual egomania has landed you smack dab in the middle of the Fourth Reich!)This is unfortunately very real. It is time to start talking to your neighbors and local law enforcement, and inform them of the dire situation this nation is facing. You need to read all the draconian legislation that has breezed through in the past year, and you need to spread the info around. The media is fully co-opted. Start trying to "wake-up" people in uniform. We need muscle on our side.Time to remember how to use logic and critical thinking, people. Time to suppress our emotional responses, and take a hard objective look at the facts. The facts of the Iraq/Afghanistan wars, the facts of our ravaged Constitution, and the facts of September 11, 2001.I see people trying to rationalize, saying "other presidents have taken liberties with executive power...". Not like this. We have been apathetic and blind. Now we will reap what we have sown.Think maybe Bush is just "testing the limits"? Listen. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ukYQgcLZV68&mode=related&search= Funny joke, right?

It doesn't have to be Bush, people. His controllers will also control the person who is (s)elected to replace him. The attack will most likely occur shortly after Hillary is put into office, and she will claim that she uses these powers because she "has to" and to not do so would be "bad for the nation" and other such nonsense. People will believe her, because "She didn't write the directive, Bush did! Do you really think the Republicans wanted to give these kinds of powers to a Clinton??!?!?" Additionally, many people simply will not believe that she could have evil intentions because she is female. It's the perfect plan for those who control the office of the president.... by surrounding him/her with hired guns that go by the name of "the secret service", which continue to surround ex-presidents until they die.

I agree with zeous here. i seriously doubt any red-blooded american soldier, officer, general would idly stand by as this idiot declares himself the sole ruler of the U.S. they've got the hardware. the generals would rally and they'd return things to normalcy; ya bush has his corporate private militia but they don't have the hardware. it's the hardware. now i am fearful of some kind of religious theocratic . . . oh man i don't want some law prohibiting me from spilling my seed (which in their effed up metaphysics is God's (weird)) all over a victoria's secret catalogue.

OK ,,this is getting realy scary now ,,here we have begining on october 15 through 21 Exercise VIGILANT SHIELD 2008 and concurrent with TOP OFFICIALS 4 (TOPOFF 4), the nation?s premier exercise of terrorism preparedness sponsored by the Department of Homeland Security, and several other linked exercises as part of the National Level Exercise 108.This also involves The U.K ,Canada,Australia and guam for some wierd reason...The last time we sore this type of exersize was on 9/11 and again on 7/7 There is no question that Vigilant Shield 08 is either government preparation for the implementation of martial law or a way for criminal elements within the government to distract emergency responders in order to conduct a false flag terror attack as a pretext to actually implement martial law and engage in foreign war. On September 11th, 2001 there were drills run by NORAD including Vigilant Guardian which served as a way to ensure that there was no adequate military response to the hi-jacked planes. A similar scenario unfolding with Vigilant Shield is not out of the question.

He is never leaving office. He will declare himself "President For Life" before Jan 20 2009.

BUsh would do it if a Dem gets "Elected". There would be a "Terrorist Act" on Christmas Eve and he will declare he needs 30 years to deal with it.Thus "DICTATOR FOR LIFE"
