cinematical.com — At the Publicists Guild luncheon last week, George Lucas, gave an award to publicist Sid Ganis, who was the in-house publicist on Star Wars: Episode Five - The Empire Strikes Back, said, 'Sid is the reason why The Empire Strikes Back is always written about as the best of the films, when it actually was the worst one.'"

Screw that noise. Episodes I, II, and III were by FAR the worst.

@RazorsharpWe don't like him because he was a horrid actor.... not because he was the bad guy.And Revenge of the Sith was one of the worst films... I have it on DVD and only watched it once while the others I have watched numerous times.

If Lucas was joking, fine. But, if not, he belongs in a sanitarium. Perhaps he is upset, because people love Empire and it happens to be the film in which Lucas did not direct!I was 10 when SW came out, great space-western.I was 13 when Empire came out, total mind bending downer of a picture, awesome! At 16, when Return came out, I was like, "Teddy bears, teddy bears...?! C'mon.."I swear, if the last 3 films did not show either:1) Yoda's supreme bad-assery2) Chewie's home planet3) Anakin's grief of Padme's deaththey would beTEH SUCK.

star wars was made for kids. I saw the first when I was aid and loved em. The new ones as an adult and didn't. But I know plenty of friend kids that think they are great. So aimed at kids and enjoyed by kids.
