It is bulls**t, but it's somewhat correct. Look what happened with South Korea. Sure, it's not a similar situation from the start, but the end result is the same: We are using a country to gain a foothold into a region of the world.If our next president does not make obvious and immidiate moves to pull out, we will be there for a long time.

I'm sure Iraq will be remarkable after 10 yrs. of US rule. Broke, looted, violent, segregated, vulnerable and populated by orphans and uneducated poor folks who couldn't leave.
